Brendan and I are excited to move ahead with our malting project. It’s been a busy few weeks. We’ve met with a few very helpful brewers (you’ll know who you are – thanks!) and gathered good feedback on which type of malts are of most interest.
We have made good progress on the design of our malting plant, which we expect to be completed well in advance of this year’s harvest season.
Spring Barley varieties have been chosen and ordered for this year’s harvest – Propino; S/Y Taberna and KWS Irina.
